Fart jokes in animated movies. Who the fuck decided that this should be a staple of kids movies? I hated the Ice Age for this. And Shrek, and Robots, and Despicable Me (fucking awful flick).

Yeah that was exaggerated. I generally dislike tv series cause I hate spending so much time watching things unravel. A good 2-hr movie brings me much more satisfaction. So yeah, I should have written "long, absurd, tedious plot" instead of "no plot". It annoys the fuck out of me. (I'm at the beginning of the third season). I don't know why John Snow would suddenly turn his back on his friends, just like the other guy did (the adopted one - Greyjoy), and the Stark mother, and that other guy, and... What's the point of following a story if you know anyone could suddenly change his mind and betray everyone? That's idiotic.
So yeah, I dislike Game of Thrones, but don't take it personally. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a series besides Friends and the first couple of seasons of Lost.

i love everything about this post.
i agree with your gripes about some of the turns those characters make. i come for the moral ambiguity and dozens of opposing sides, i stay for the porn. (well, i guess i "come" for that, too. huzzah!!)

I generally have no problem with collars but turtlenecks are an exception. When I was 6 or 7 I made it very clear to my mother that I didn't like turtlenecks. My parents were not sadists and obliged, thankfully. |

personally, in warmer weather, i think we should go back to wearing togas. they seem so comfy and breathable. |

When you come out the shower/bath/swimming pool and you have water stuck in your ear that affects your hearing making it dull/muffled in one ear.
Nothing that you try works and you become resigned to it. Then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, once you sort of kinda get used to the dull sound in one ear, it clears all by itself. Its a wee bit irritating. |
