Here's my version of...

Pixies
Song: Wave of Mutilation
Album: Doolittle
Tabbed by: Kirk Bagley Jan2005

*** 3/4 timing. Waltz style with a swing. Acoustic guitar sound. ***
**No intro, and make it swing like Elliott Smith's "Waltz #2"**
*Damn! I should just record it for you!*

[VERSE 1]

F C/E Dm Fmaj7/C Bb Bbmaj7/A Gm7 C7
--Cease to resist, giving my goodbye

 F C/E Dm7 C G/B Bb Bb-Bbmaj7/A-Gm7
--Drive my car into the o----cean

 F Am Dm Fmaj7/C Bb Am7 Gm7 Eb9
--You'll think I'm dead, but I sail away

[CHORUS]

      F Am Bb
 On a wave of mutilation

 F Am Bb
 Wave of mutilation

 Dm Am Gm7
 Wave of mutilation

   Fmaj7 Bbmaj7 Fmaj9 Bbmaj7(add 13)
 A wave .... wave

*same idea for VERSE 2 and the rest of the song.

EDIT - Fixed coding.

Okay, so transfering from notepad straight to this forum screws up things.

No it doesn't. I'm gonna try it out once I get my hand on a six string. For the first time in a while, there's not one in sight. Probably because I'm not at home.

Any song that swings like elliott smith is alright with me.

Use the code tag: "code" in brackets at the beginning and "/code" in brackets at the end.

Nice one kirk, looks good.

(oh, and when you said it screws things up, and I said no it doesn't, I thought you meant screwed up because nobody had replied, not the tab code thingy. didn't want you thinking I was being blunt, high almighty or a jerk, as in: "NO IT DOESN'T! hope you didn't take that the wrong way if you took it at all)

I see a six string, so if my sleepy eyes don't fail me now, can't wait to try the tab. Will let you know.
