I thought this was hilarious and newsworthy. I actually liked Dave about 10 years ago, until they began to suck. But this is too hilarious.
They dumped human waste on a boat from a bridge in Chicago, funny to me, but I guess not too funny to the people covered in dave mathews shit... good metaphor for my ears from hearing dmb crappy "music"...

Have you only just heard about this? I remember reading it at the time and emailing it to my friend who likes him. We like taking the piss out of him for that, so this just added fule to the fire. It lent itself to soo many jokes. Bad ones,but we enjoyed ourselves none-the-less.

Dave Matthews... there was a point where I liked them too, but somewhere between they endless self-admiration and the vomit-enducing lyrics I fell off that band wagon.

Its not even a jam band.
Phish was a jam band.
The Grateful Dead were a Jam band.
Shit - Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians were a jam band.
Tha Dave Matthews band was a glorified fusion band.
Sterile and mediocre...there are third year music students all over the country that could chew every one of them up and spit them out.
I liked the music up to Under the Table and Dreaming.
After that it is vacuous frat-style antheming.

Yea, I used to like him. I guess it was just too much partying or something screwing with my brain. To be honest, he was one of the better acts at the time.
It seemed like he lost "it" right before he got married.
But I am completely sick of him. I wish the radio station I listen to that clams to be alternative would quit playing him. He was never alt rock anyway.
