Rita, I wish you wouldn't learn this weird English from Homers and kittie. The correct word is "pants," not "trousers."

You're going to be sharing the same pair of trousers? Is this some crazy act for the Gong Show or something?

I do not kid when I say that I fear that sartorial nightmare called "skorts," the skirt -and-shorts combination. It is both ugly and scary, to me.

We had those cullotes things, wide leg shorts that look like skirts because of the sheer wideness of it all without the silly flap. Still shit though.

I am here to defend the skort. I had them as a 70's child. Back then they were calld cool-lots I think part of the appeal is the tomboy aspect that it looks like you are wearing a skirt but you're really wearing shorts. They came back in the early '90's. I bought some.
I think they're cute... but I wouldn't wear one now. But they are way better than ugg boots. |

I am here to destroy the skort.
I will use a key word in Daisy's defense of said scary garment to bolster my argument that it should be outlawed. Daisy used the word "child." The skort is somewhat OK for little girls but not women.
To recap: skort, bad; maybe somewhat OK for little girls and this best Brit footballer, who is also the ultimate Chav:

Unfortunately, yes. We have given you Britney and what's his name and you have given us Posh Spice and Beckham.

Puh-lease. You name a footballer the ultimate chav and neglect to mention Wayne Rooney?
(PS, I think Alan Hansen muttered something about 6'9 once, but he's actually 6'7. And awesome. See, we all made fun of him when he joined, but the guy has skills to pay the bills. Once we get Kevin Phillips, Nigel Quashie and Fabrice Fernandes match fit, we're on our way. Kenwyne Jones looked pretty sharp as well.)

Yeah he scored a lot of goals on loan at Sheffield Wednesday didn't he? Is he central midfield?
I was thinking about Rooney too. Scored a couple of belters for a chav today though.

Cheesy, I will defer to you on this but don't you agree that Beckham is the ultimate chav? Not because he's a footballer but because after his marriage to Anorexic Spice he has become tabloid fodder, with his trashy attire and silly affairs?

His Spanish sucks too, though it´s pretty spiffy compared to Michael "Muchoz Graseez" Owen. It´s an interesting dialect, Professional Footballer Castillian.
