New guy posting here. Huge Pixies/Frank Black fan. Was wondering if any other people are having trouble getting their money back from Disclive. I preordered 4 December Pixies shows in November. When I found out they weren't offering them anymore, I sent an E-mail requesting my money back. It has now been 5 weeks ,4 tickets created, and no money returned to me. Anyone out there having the same problem?

i ordered the 32 shows that were supposed to be issued... i still have no refund though they told me it has been done... i received 5 of the 17 remaining cds but 2 are defected (a wrong cd in a digipack and a broken cd), 3 are on back order (!! does that mean that it's out of stock?!) and i still have no news of the 9 other shows... it's really a shame... i spent a lot of money, it was supposed to be my christmas gift... though a canadian friend helps me (i'm french and it's difficukt to explain such a problem!) |

fairplay to buying 32 shows.... should have downloaded some of them though mate.

I got my refund for Tsongas within a week, but I haven't gotten my Nov 30th CD yet...
Will I ever reach 1000?

After hounding them for a few weeks, I received notice that my card was refunded on 1/9. Still has not showed up on my card. No luck reaching them since the 9th.
Any ideas? |

when my montreal show was making a funny ticking noise, they fed-exed me another set...i got it in two days....

if anyone calls them, please ask if they are gonna re-issue and therefore replace the Fuji Rock cd's with the complete concert...I already gave up sending them tickets... |

I got screwed by DiscLive. I had ordered the 11/16 show in Chicago, but was sent a show from Detroit. I complained and was told several times that the correct show would be sent out.....never happened.
I threatened to report DiscLive to the Better Business Bureau, but still never heard much until I sent an email directly to the CEO and COO. Here are their email addresses:
After complaining to these guys, this chick Stefani at DiscLive processed a refund for me. I never did get the correct CD, so I guess it's a wash.

Yes, send an email to Zach and Paul at Immediatek. This is the company that recently purchased DiscLive. Zach is the CEO. That was the only way that I was able to get a refund. The promised that my cd would be sent, but it never happened.

the problem is still actual: i've received 12 sets but one has a wrong cd (another date), two have scraches that make some tracks unreadable, one have a broken cd and another one have a burn problem (periodical parasit noise all the cd long)... so i have 7 perfect sets, 5 defected and i still wait the 5 others and the refund of the last 15... disclive told me the refund was ok at the begining of december, and i should receive the correct cds that are defected but i WAIT. i would have no problem in waiting if i would be sure that everything will get allright... i'm lucky because aidan from canada helps me in phoning them... i'm not good enough at english to have a talk with them! 'hope everything will get in order... |

i had to leave right after chicago show, 11/17, so i ordered it. i got it a month later, both cds first disc, i emailed them, and i just got it. god, i was so mad.

Just a quick note to say we here at DiscLive apologize for the issues you are having in getting your matters handled, and hope most of these are now cleared up. We are working VERY hard on this, and assure you that everyone will be taken care of.
Most of you know that we were required to use an external source for fulfillment who we feel has not performed to our expectations (far from it), and as a result, we are having to clean up a <b>lot</b> of mess. If you have ordered a Pixies product and have not yet received it, you may send a note to julia "at" immediatek.com (replace the AT with an @) and she will put you in the queue and will take care of you as soon as possible. PLEASE be kind to her! And please include your full name, mailing address, ORDERID, number of discs ordered/received, date of show, etc., and it will greatly speed the process. Also, I would personally be interested to know for those of you who had items shipped from MusicToday (and actually receifed it), when you ordered the product (or the date of the show), and when you actually received it in the MusicToday shipping package. You can send that to me at info "AT" immediatek.com.
In the future, we are utilizing our own trusted partners for fulfillment, as well as internally, so if you choose to do business with us in the future (which we hope you do), you won't have these problems. Thank you again for all of your patience and support in DiscLive.

Consider yourselfves lucky to have even gotten a copy. I'm left with no choice but to ask a refund. Don't ever spend a single dime through this comany ever again.

If you are unable to process this request, then the problem no longer lies whithin your outsourced distributor, but whithin Immediatek itself. The mistake I made was to be patient in this whole matter, as I had faith that you would resolve this matter in time. Whereas other, less forgiving customers are probably enjoying their CDs as we speak, I am left with no choice but to ask for a refund. And I have read that you are unreasonably slow in delivering those as well.
This has been the single worst online purchase experience I have ever participated in. Through what I have read regarding your company on the web, I am not the only one with this opinion. The dammage you have done to your reputation in this matter will not be easily forgotten.
