This is a thread dedicated to that succulent ambrosia, those delectable delicacies, the most wonderful food on this earth, known as mangoes.
So, how do you prepare yours? Traditional style? 
or Hawaiian style? 
I find that the Hawaiian cut allows for the optimum amount of that sweet mango nectar .

Well, I can't see either picture, but I just peel em and cut em as close to the pit doodad as I can without risking poisoning, and cut into pieces as big as I can make them.
The main point of my efforts is to get
mango --> into mouth
as quickly as possible! |

I have a mango tree in my front yard. It's been blown over by two hurricanes but it refuses to give up and die. Birds and squirrels always get the fruit first, sadly.

Mangoes used to suck when it had husks around the pit which got inbetween ones teeth and drove you mad.
These days the flesh around the pit is smooth, it is easier to eat so they kick Royal Gala's butt.

I love mangoes. Shit, I could go back to live in Mexico just for the mangoes. It's awfully difficult to find good ones over here.
BTW, for Xmas I had foie gras with mango and it combined perfectly.

Mango Madness Snapple? Uggh! I can only imagine how that tastes. The last time I hade mangoe juice from the grocery store it tasted like canned pineapple juice. The real deal is the only thing for me.
