World Junior Hockey Championship starts today at 4pm PST. We havn't won Gold since '97 but I think this could be the year. Will any forum members from the North Dakota area or Minnesota area be going to any games? Even if you are not a big hockey fan you should watch a game, that Sidney Crosby is something else!
Next year they are being held in my home town, sweet!
My prediction: Canada over US for the Gold. Slovakia over Russia for the Bronze.

My plans for this New Year's weekend:
Watch two hockey games on New Year's day, watch two more on Sunday. Last night, we kicked off the big holiday weekend by playing at one of the outdoor rinks until 9, when it started to rain.
Does that qualify me for Canadian citizenship?

I just had a nice Caesar last night, some Silent Sam, fresh ground pepper, two asparagus spears, and a squeeze of lime.
Kathryn, the cardinal rule of maple syrup is that it is not, under any circumstances, to be mixed with alcohol. Potentially fatal, like mixing drugs and booze.
