the one custodian in my office is so talkative and lazy that all day today all he's been sitting in my office eating my candy and talking to me about boring shit. so i closed to the door. so simple, so liberating, so effective. now i can enjoy my music and do a little work without talking about the yankees (who i hate)

i just realized that the new maple syrup i got is Canadian, but it actually tastes pretty good. maybe i've been too hard on you guys

wooow woooow wooooow there. let's not get ahead of ourselves. i said it was "pretty good" .. but it's still not Vermont maple syrup.
let's just say i was pleasantly surprised that it didn't taste like feces (how i always imagined it)

Basically I have nothing to do at work today...just counting the hours...I have the rest of the week off for the Holidays, but mentally I am already celebrating them.
Actually, I made myself an XMAS present...
I have had for a number of years a giant 4' x 6' subway promo poster for TOTY. I am a poster and banner marketing printer for Jacuzzi/Sundance Spas, so today I laminated the thing with a nice flat laminate and mounted it to 1.5 inch foam core backing. It is my gift to myself which will soon be adorning my living room wall!
Otherwise, I am bored senseless here at work...surfing the internet...eating flavored popcorn...

Much better now.
Got the xmas bonus which was more than I expected.
Review was alright, got to put them on the defensive this time which was most amusing.
Keeping it cordial so I can get laid off after the busy season and suck on the teet of unemployment insurance after that.
