I know that I came to the wrong forum . But I was happy because I found Christians listen to me . I am a normal Muslim not even a scientist in religion . My English is not very good because it is not my mother tongue but you know Muslim stereotypes are perpetuated in every form of the media accompanied by gross misinformation about Islam and Muslims. In fact, such misinformation and false propaganda often leads to discrimination and acts of violence against Muslims.
Islam is derived from the word ‘salaam’ which means peace. It is a religion of peace whose fundamentals teach its followers to maintain and promote peace throughout the world.
God says in the Qur'an : ( Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors. )
You see the Jewish Kill the Muslims , take their houses. The Christians kill and oppress Muslims all over the world. The Christians came from America and British destroyed everything . My friend is very smart. He was very happy with his life but they cut his two hands and legs. They killed many of my friends . I lost some of my relatives . You sleep on music and wake up on happy dreams but we sleep on the sounds of guns and when we wake up by the Christians soldiers . We always in fear. We don't have intelligent weapons like them.
The moment a robber sees a policeman he is terrified. A policeman is a terrorist for the robber. Similarly every Muslim should be a terrorist for the antisocial elements of society, such as thieves, dacoits and rapists. Whenever such an anti-social element sees a Muslim, he should be terrified. It is true that the word ‘terrorist’ is generally used for a person who causes terror among the common people. But a true Muslim should only be a terrorist to selective people i.e. anti-social elements, and not to the common innocent people. In fact a Muslim should be a source of peace for innocent people. www.irf.net may help to correct many misconceptions about Islam
Finally , I will leave this forum but I hope peace for all people on earth . This is what my religion learned me.

unfortunately it didn't teach you to not do internet searches for "catholics" and then drop in on unsuspecting forums to spread religious propaganda.

Mefa, thanks for your words. Where do you live?
Actually this forum, for Frank Black and his Band Frank Black and the Catholics has nothing to do with the Catholic religion. It's just a name for a rock and roll band. We talk about music and current events, but actually I wouldn't label all the people here as Christians... as I really don't know the religious leanings of anyone on this board.
As for you comments, I can see how you would say the Christian and Jewish people attack Muslims. But to be fair, this issue goes back thousands of years and the Muslims are equally a part of attacking Christians and Jews. It's a cycle that goes back a long time and must be broken. What I find ironic that anyone-- be they Christian, Jewish or Musilm would kill in the the name of religion, because as you mentioned these religions are based upon peace and love.
You're welcome to stay here and talk about music and what not.
