I've found many other forum members making obscure references to their own bands and recordings they've done. Occasionally one will point people to their web page for feedback. I think I'm one of them. There's a member in the General Chat doing that now. I'd like to see a thread where musicians can post their band's mp3 page and other members can visit and give feedback. Possibly even some basic directory of forum member's bands? Does that sound do-able? I'd be willing to kind of head that up if necessary. I'll get things started here:
Band name: Prozac Rat Web page: prozacrat.dmusic.com or: prozacrat.iuma.com
I'd love to see what other people have to offer the musical world. Enjoy! |

I really enjoyed your several of your bands song's in particular Pidgeon Inside, Bank Teller, Like Me, Mike, Shake, and Sway. Of those that I listed above as enjoying, my favorite would have to be Bank Teller. Thanks for sharing.

Alright, I think this gets asked for enough that I'll work on doing a separate forum for bands/artists where we can do this.
It is a good idea.

Nimrod's Son, I like dmusic.com. You can usually put a good amount of material on there, like my band did. It's easy to maintain, and once the songs are uploaded, they're made immediately available. That's a nice function over, say, mp3.com, which made you wait for some sort of approval of each track before making them public. But it's free, which is most important. So I'd say look them up.
Sir Rockabye, I'll check your stuff out once I'm at a faster computer. Thanks for the comments. Bank Teller seems to be a favorite among most. That and Like Me are part of a theme album we did over a couple of weekends, and we're very fond of the overall product.
COF, let me know if you need help rallying the troops.
Thanks for the support, all. |

Alright, the new forum for this is up, check it out... I'll probably be tweaking for a little while.

Here.

I'm not sure why it's not showing up under Frank Black Forum. In the drop down list at the top, you have to choose "All Categories" to see it, or be viewing Active Topics. I may have to enlist Dave. But go add your band site in there.
