The Pixies were ...well let's just say I couldn't stop a rockin and a rollin. My first pixies show and by far one of the best shows I've ever seen. One small problem...the venue was fucking HORRIBLE. Not only were the lines for the beer garden/tent/whatever the fuck the longest lines in the bloody world, but you couldn't leave and come back in...They had a line up to go and have a smoke. Fuckin garbage. I even had to get nasty with one of the bouncers cause he was being a dramatic bitch and I was just fed up. I'm not saying I wasn't expecting obvious set backs but this was fucking insane. I mean when you have thousands of people, and about 75% of them want beer, it's just common sense to have more than 3 dudes in tuxes pouring beverages. But you know what, it was all worth it to hear the beautiful noise that is the pixies.

Hey coldheartofstone, thanks so much for that Postal Service CD..it's a real gem... while listening to the song "This Place is a Prison" it reminded me of that night and how they wouldn't let us out of the damn place. It was funny how when I went to look for you in the "beer garden" 20 min's after you set out on the journey, they let me in, but you guys were still waiting in line....lines for beers..never any good. The following night wasnt' quite as bad. Next time I'm smuggling those little mini shooter bottles in..i'm gonna duct tape em all over my body..
HAHAhaha...why the hell didn't I think of that in the first damn place. And I'm glad ya like the CD it has served(pun surely intended) me well...now I must pick up another one so I can enjoy it again...:P
