I have 2 Disclive recordings from the earlier shows in Edmonton and Spokane...I want to purchase 1 more Disclive set, one with Bam Thwok among the songs, since the Disclive sets I jhave don't have it. Which available Disclive recordings have Bam Thwok?

I have parused some of the recent setlists, and it seems they're not playing it right now. ?

They played it the first two nights in Berkeley, and I think they played it about a week earlier, but I forget where. I must say it worked pretty well in Berkeley, raising my appreciation of the song.

I saw them play in LA at the Greek Theater, and they played it. I too, appreciated it live.

to my knowledge, they've played bam thwok 4 times:
Sept 21st La Jolla California
Sept 22nd Greek Theatre
Sept 23rd Greek Theatre
Sept 24th Berkeley.

I don't think any of these dates were recorded by disclive or from musictoday (that was in the 'in limbo' period).
i know that there is an audience recording of berkeley out there...not sure about the other dates.

This "in limbo" period, is it because of Bam-Thwok? I don't see it on Musictoday and they haven't played it since. Maybe the band can't stand it. I saw it in San Diego and they seemed to be all over the place with it, hard one to sing live.

Could be two reasons:

1)The interlude part just doesnt sound good live
2)The crowd doesnt respond to it because 90% of them havent heard it.

i think there were some issues with the business relationship between the pixies and disclive at some point, and effectively their business relationship ended full stop and until they got it sorted out, there was no-one professionally recording the shows
i don't think the 'in limbo' period had to do with bam thwok at all, although i suspect that frank doesn't think much of the song.
