Black is cryptic with regards to any potential new Pixies album: "I don't even know. I think the next time we go out, if we go out next summer, there won't even be the record out yet." However, you will note that his quote definitely implies a likely release, as well as a future tour. It's all good news here, baby!
Is it retarded of me to be so excited to hear about a band going on tour next year, even though I have seen them 4 times this year? I think it just might be.
No porkbone, that's just how good they are and how lucky we are to soak in all these shows we never thought we'd see.
Mattb... thanks for sharing this news with us!!! I am feeling like the odds are pretty good that I will see them again live... pfew!!!... I wasn't sure where they would end up after this tour, so this is definately reassuring news.
I can't wait to hear the new FB albums too... and who knows there might be a Pixies alum in the next few years...
And who could forget the DVD...that will be cool to relive the shows I was at and check out the ones I couldn't make it to...
