Well, they both seemed pretty satisfied. They separated, climbed back up the slime bungee cord and just sort of sat there for a few minutes before one of them started shaking the other one and bitching that it never talked.
This war, it will be just like the War on Drugs. It will be potent and effective and our objectives will be clear. The nation had a nasty drug problem and we declared a war on drugs and spent billions over many years and now you can't buy drugs anymore. It will be just like that.

More slug facts (as a UCSC alumni floop probably already knows all of this):
They're hermaphrodites and when they mate they both stick their penises into each other
When they finish they sometimes chew off the penis of their partner. This is called apophallation.

Could well have been, sounds like it, this is going back to when I was a fresher and still doing biology before I saw the light and figured molecular was the new black. I could look through my notes to check, or e mail copepod girl because she's bound to remember, but it was a very boring experiment, with round things that moved a bit. I remember there was something about round grooves they made and...
