I got this from PixiesMusic Newsletter.... and have my copy of the Houston show, and it sounds great. If this has come up already, my apologies.

1. Pixies Launch Digital Downloads Store
Starting at 11AM EST this past Friday, the official Pixies digital downloads store launched with the goal of making almost every show from the fall tour available as a download. All shows are available in a high quality 256kbps MP3 format, and retail for $11.99 each. The sound quality is great for these shows, and while not every show will be available, the majority of the fall tour to date is represented. Don't know but Disc live looks like they're doing CDs again. i visited the site at http://www.disclive.com and saw they are selling St paul, Chicago, and some other ones

| Interesting that DiscLive would kick back up just as they announce the ability to download 256+kbps (The one's I got were 320) .mp3s of almost all of their shows. |

I would be down with paying for a lossless format like FLAC, but not MP3.

| well i just downloaded the irvine show that i went to and the sound quality is terrrible! Everything is totally blown out. ugh. maybe they can offer me another show or something. i just emailed customer service, hopefully they can help. i'll keep you guys updated. |
