That would be cool. William Reid's guitar playing kicks ass.

sounds very odd to me...
what is william reid up to now since the j&mc crashed ? anybody knows ? i've only heard a solo-CD shortly after that, but the CD was horrible.
maybe william chatted up frank since he need some tips for a succesful reunion...
btw, maybe this thread helps to finish this game !

As a big JAMC fan, I've never listened to William Reid's solo album.
Michael, was it really that bad?...because Frank and Jim getting together, would be awfully nice...
...and no, it will never stop the survivor game. (we should start a get out the vote movement going!, eh probably not)

martha, the william reid solo-cd was worse than horrible. it sounded like a deaf & dumb 16-year old got a guitar for the first time and tried to copy the very early sonic youth. i was disappointed since i always considered william to be the brain behind the j&mc (and he definitely was - just think of who wrote what on their last record or "Stoned & dethroned"). but maybe their crash crashed him too. honestly, from what i remember, this solo-CD is absolute crap. ultra7, of course psychocandy was/is an "important" record (whatever that means). but no, i can't listen to it anymore - maybe it's because i'm getting old. intrerestingly, i still dig their first single "upside down" a lot.

Maybe whoever started the rumor was just thinking of "Head On," and got the memo twelve years late.
