i'm catching up on my films right now. did anyone see it? good stuff. good stuff indeed.
in a Frank Black related note: watching the credits, one of the contributers to the music, in the "SIDEWAYS JAZZ ORCHESTRA" was:

Whoa, and I thought I paid fairly close attention to the credits.
I didn't see Sideways yet, but if it has Paul Giamatti playing a central character, it is highly likely I will enjoy it. I loved Giamatti as Harvey Pekar in American Splendor, and he was good in Storytelling and Man on the Moon.
Oh, and since it's directed by Alexander Payne, that contributes to it's potentiality to not suck. I've only seen one of his films (Election), but from that I could tell he's a very promising director. I need to see About Schmidt.

tartar, yeah, you should see CITIZEN RUTH too.
Paul Giamatti is excellent. the absolute perfect casting choice for the neurotic main character. as is Thomas Haden Church (didn't know of him before)..

you should see it too darwin. it all takes place along the California coast, up through central California. where you live and stuff.
