for the past two days it's been partly cloudy, with temperatures dropping as low as 64 degrees in some parts.

and yesterday we actually experienced what meteorologists refer to as "light rain."

i wore my hooded sweatshirt to work today. you can never be too safe (from hypothermia)

We've been having a blizzard here for the past two days. So we're not sweating it either.

'Twas a lovely day of shoveling snow for me. And looking out my window, it appears I'll be at it again this afternoon! I heard parts of N. Cali are expecting snow. Take that (and party)! (Whatever happened to that band?)

floop, you would LOVE Saskatchewan. I suggest you move immediatly. Our film industry is really buzzing these days. Terry Gilliam is filming in Regina (sure, it's a stinky hole of a city, but they have a sound stage).

Oh come now Senor Twin, surely you see the influence of Take That on Frank's music? Why, isn't "Honeycomb" really just "And Party!" revisited?

i didn't know Terry Gilliam was shooting anything at the moment. that's awesome. i love Terry Gilliam.

i don't know if you konw this but film productions going up to Canada is a big issue here.. ie. film industry professionals losing work etc.

i don't hold it against you guys. i admire your maple syrup efforts.

I think we've dropped the federal tax credit, though, although I'm not sure why we would if it was bringing money up...

I think he (Terry Gillam) is filming in Regina because of its proximity to Qu'Apelle Valley, its sound stage, and its seedy... well, belly. Floop, you should migrate north, as Speedy says, as soon as possible. I've even found a place for you to stay where you can keep an eye on Gillam's work:

fucking hell, that looks nice.

i think that's where i'll go if they instate the draft

re: productions in Canada.. despite the tax reduction that was dropped, it's still cheaper so, understandably, many productions go up there.

That's what I see every morning when I wake up.

Actually, I just see my backyard. Or the street, with cars on it. Or, like today, a blanket of snow covering everything, which I have to remove.

I have no idea what a "neener" is. It was like one of those "first word that pop into your head" moments. In retrospect, I should have said "nonce". I'm not really "all about" Jennifer Tilly, I was just paraphrasing Joe Swanson. I can't decide if her voice is sexy or annoying. How was it in person?

i think she's pretty sexy. she's funny too. i loved her in BOUND. that was some excellent filmmaking (ie. excellent lesbian scenes).. really though, an underrated film. showcasing the early Wakowski brothers talent.

and yeah, in person her voice is the same. i think it's kind of cute.

Chino - thats the 'wrong side of the tracks' in The OC, right?

i live in LA. Venice.

yeah, i enjoyed the rain too. i was just joshin'. trying to poke some fun at our northern neighbors in Canada who live in blizzards and shit.

cheeseman - i've never seen the OC, but i was born and raised in the OC. i'm curious if the show is as misrepresentative as i'm guessing it is. i know it's not shot in the OC.

I imagine you as a handsome rich kid with nothing on his mind except sex, constantly complaining about how bad it is to have two beautiful women fawning over you.
Not so misrepresentative now?

they should make another Canada-themed TV show, like Northern Exposure. that was a good show.

Sex In Saskatchewan

What does foreplay in Saskatchewan sound like:

"Are you awake?"

Yes, that could be an exciting show floop. So many romantic people in my fair city, and romantic venues! Just like NYC. The whole gang from Sex and the City should be flown up here for the movie (if that ever happens, thank you Kim Cattrall [Canadian, by the way]).

Northern Exposure was based in Alaska, which is still not part of Canada.
