it's not genes, the mother admits she feeds the kid six times what an ADULT would eat.
the parents should be in jail and maurey povich should be fined for exploiting her, and forced to pay for the therapy needed to fix this poor kid.

I bet the kid can't even walk, thats seriously fucking sick. The parents should be force-fed pure fat untill they know what that kids going through the sick fucks.
I can't even imagine why anyone would do that to their kid, unless it's for the exploitation they're obviously indulging in. Twisted.

there have been a lot of cases like hers in the US, i think that one is the most extreme.
but in all cases the mother says the kid throws a tantrum unless given more food. basically it comes down to the parents being incompetant and/or cowardly and unable to discipline and control their own children. |

We get the odd case of obese children but usually it's a genetic thing, I think children discipline issues have gotten totally out of hand, it's wrong, even abuse to give a kid a quick smack but ok to feed them into monstrous proportions? Fucked Up.

well the problem with discipline comes from the biggest problem and the root of a lot of sociological problems; inept parenting.

Maybe the fact that the kid WANTS to eat six times what an adult would eat is genetic? I mean, most kids would get full long before that, and probably throw up the excess.

The school my son went to was pretty cool for explaining good nutrition to them and why its important and how the industry tries to take advantage of them. They were really big on water too. So I don't hear "mom you make the lamest lunches and the kids make fun of me" anymore. :)
