These guys are going to play the next month in my little island. Opened for Springsteen on tour. Some people say they sound like the E Street Band in the 70's.

My question: Deserves it my 15 euros?

That's right! Give a poor American another foreign currency he doesn't know!

Seriously, I guess I COULD go to a conversion site, but I don't have the time right now.

1 euro is roughly 1 dollar +/- $0.10, retard.

What do you want from me? To put it in US$? Keep dreaming. Anyway, I have decided to go and see them. There's nothing better to do.

So we're talking somewhere between 15 and 16 dollars? I'd say to listen to some of their songs first. Or have you already done that?

I've downloaded their latest record. Quite good, I've decided they deserve almost 18$. Perhaps you could think it's a lot of money for a show, but when you live in an island...

I get enough live music, the same local bands over and over again. If you want something more, you must travel to Barcelona. That's a lot of money, it must be a great band. I did it for Pixies and Dylan (it was my birthday gift to my mother) and I'm considering to go and see R.E.M.

Is it to far from Barcelona? You must go by plane or you can go on a ferry boat? I went once to Ibiza but I don´t remember much...

There's a ferry, a 6 or 7 hours long trip. But if you haven't enough you must go by plane.

I've never been to Ibiza, isn't it funny?

Ahhhh, I thought you couldn't remember it because you had visited Pacha or a hippie community!

Just my dirty mind...

I didn't know you were so young. On the other hand, every age is a good age to meet a hippie.

Yes, I guess... And what is like to live in a small island? Don´t you feel claustrophobia? I´m asking because I´ve been to Azores and I felt that a lot!

It isn't that small! It's almost 100 km long. It used to be the most beautiful mediterranean place 20 years ago, but now sucks. Money, this is the cancer of the world.

I'm sure it's better than this industrial city, although there is a warped kind of beauty in the abandoned factories
