On the radio today I won on a call-in thing a trip to Alabamba to see the Pixies on October 12, and I assume I'll get to sit on the stage during the show and go backstage and what not. I'm so excited! That will be three nights in a row of seeing the Pixies for me (unless I decide to sell my other tickets because of the ones I won).
In case you happened to be listening to 99x in GA around 7:00PM today, I was the guy who sounded like a complete idiot.

Congratulations! I wish I could find some damn Pixies tickets for around where I lived. I checked on Ticketmaster because there was an October 10th show in Nashville (I'd probably meet up with the swimmer at that one) but it was all sold out.
What could be better than a swan dive into the asphalt?

I'll try and take lots of pictures and post them. I've decided I'll sell my Wednesday tickets and just go Tuesday and Thursday, so I'm going to put up a thread announcing that and anyone that wants them can get them before it's too late at face value (2 tickets, Wednesday, October 13, balcony--sold out show). Glacial, you might be interested in these since Atlanta is only about four hours away from Nashville...

The DJ asked a question and the first person to all in and answer correctly won. He asked who was opening up for them (The Thrills) and the first person to call got it wrong, but I was the second person and I got it right.
I don't know what I'll say to them; I'll probably just end up sounding like a fool and saying how much their music means to me. Does anyone have any question suggestions, in case I get a chance to talk to them?

Hey, Glacial, change the horizontal line in your sig to be a [ hr ] w/out the spaces. Otherwise, it overdoses the size on some peoples' screens. I've edited your posts here so you can see what I mean.

Well, there's not much reason to be jealous, because I just went and picked up the itenerary and tickets, and I highly doubt there will be any going backstage. And the tickets aren't even that great; they're 2nd row, but WAAAAAAY off to the side. But I'm still excited because it's all free!
