I just remembered a sandwich I loved to make for myself when I was a "sandwich artist"  at Subway during college.
fresh-baked subway bread (only had white or wheat back in the day)
seafood salad
as many black olives as I could fit on the salad
tomatoes
bacon, extra crispy
lettuce
sometimes w/potato chips on top too
Oh gawd I need one now.

Oh, man.
Time to go eat. I even have some crabcakes in the fridge. Lettuce, black olives. No tomatoes :( No sub-rolls :(
I wonder if the bacon is still any good. How do you know if it's gone bad if it doesn't smell yet? |
