so, i just discovered that this woman i've been working with is actually Kira, like the Kira, from Black Flag. i had no idea. i never put it together before, and never really had any reason to. but we were talking about music.. and i saw she had a Black Flag tattoo and was like, "so, do you have the 10 and a half or what?".. and it was her. pretty neat-o.
she needs to be added to the list of kick ass female bass players.
apparantly she dated Henry Rollins and was married to Mike Watt for 10 years. they still play together on projects (her and Mike W)..

yeah, dos is her and watt's project - it is quite good (or at least i think so). Kira Rosseler (spelling?) is a great bass player and seems to be an all around cool person

Floop, do you think you could make your life sound a little bit cooler? Like how about this week you play golf with Sam Jackson, and then go get drunk with Jennifer Garner and Selma Hiak... (did I spell that right? probably not)

i would tell you about my super cool life but i'm off to poker night at Carrot Top's house, then i have to get up early tomorrow to go jogging with David Hasselhoff (who always insists on picking me up in the original KIT car, which he actually owns. silly guy)..

indeed, hanging out in an internet forum is unquestionably cool. i usually bring that up first thing when i'm on dates.. but try to act humble about it so as not to come on too strong..
