As winter sets in, I've finally managed to Shutterfly some of my holiday pictures from earlier in the year. I call on the rest of you to show us yours.
Myself (right) and my brothers atop Table Mountain, Cape Town
My brother and some African penguins, Boulders Beach, Cape Peninsula
Table Mountain from Kirstenbosch Gardens, Cape Town
Blythedale Beach, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. This beach was at the bottom of our garden, and was pretty much completely deserted, except for the odd dolphin in the 10 foot waves.
Our accommodation in Mlilwane Reserve, Swaziland

Looks very beautiful. Did you enjoy your travels? I'd offer some of my pictures from vacation, if I ever went anywhere interesting.

Surfer Rosa,
if you're going to Santa Fe you have to go to this place http://www.tenthousandwaves.com/ . after a long road trip, a japanese private bath will do the trick. it's a one of a kind experience. and amazingly affordable. you can get these amazing private tubs for like $30 an hour.
you also have to eat at this restaurant http://www.pasquals.com/, which is considered by many to be the best in Santa Fe..
enjoy

Cheers floop, it was a great holiday. I'd recommend Cape Town in particular to anyone and everyone.

You clearly haven't read "Ten Reasons Why Cape Town Can Fuck Off!", which is understandable.
The funniest bit is that the author later moved to Cape Town, and then to Jo'Burg I think.
(In fact my biggest regret about my trips to South Africa is that I didn't go to Cape Town. Maybe one day...)

Floop I think I'm going to need to buy you a drink or two when I get to California - my buddy and I have been totally disorganised with this trip and not planned a thing yet. |

We should all move there and be one big happy FB.net family! All sunshine and love...
No - crap idea - forgot most of my family all live there and they are driving me insane plus not enough decent live music.

I remember holidays, I had them once, the best I could manage would be a photo of a campsite in the lake district, I'll just stay jealous of everyone elses pictures for now
I look like the kind of guy who pimps his sister not just for the money, but because he hates her

I can't really take the credit, its my brother's picture. It was a beautiful place though - we were there just at the start of Autumn, I guess, so it wasn't burning heat all day long. The clouds were out and were amazing. I like clouds, for some reason. My brother's were all for walking up the mountain, I had to play the sickness card...

Fill my mind with info Floop! My buddy and I are planning 3 weeks of fun but haven't quite narrowed it down to anything in particular yet. Want it to be like Thelma & Louise but with less FBI/rape/guns and more sex/drugs/rock and roll! |

I like the pics Simon. I'll be seeing REM in Cape Town next year, it is going to be an excellent week-end.
Why not plan a FB.net tour of SA? Surfer Rosa could show you guys around Cape Town and the Boland, Jedi could be tour guide in PE and I'll show everyone around the mine dumps of the North-West province.
