I noticed Darwin (a member of this forum) now has 2,338 posts. Yet, looking back on it, I can recall virtually none of them. Hence, let's do him justice and see what we can find. |

Floop, I'm more of a guy who's against the unstable, post-whatever-the-hell-you-want kind of threads. This thread has a topic. That said, you've still established a favorable memory. I remember your posts, floop. I remember most people's posts. But for some reason, Darwin just isn't there. I suppose I could have emailed him, but I wanted to make a thread to which he is the subject. |

darwin cracks me up on a daily basis..
but i guess i remember most the things we have in common, being a fellow Californian (Peet's coffee, Baja Fresh etc..) and our mutual love for Las Vegas (especially Horseshoe Casino)

You never gave me a chance. I could have learned to like flan or lied.
Sorry I haven't impressed you IceCream. I'll try harder.

One other thing, I'm leading a crusade against fufu coffee sizes. No more talls and grandes. Are we suppose to feel cool and connected by talking in their code? The smallest size they have that's called a small. The biggest one they have that's a large. The one in between that's a medium. It's a system we've had for a few years and it works pretty well. So, next time you order tell the "bartista" that you want a medium coffee and strike down the corporate fufu talk.

I prefer his posts in the android thread, but perhaps it's only the nerd inside me.

Did IceCream ever assassinate anyone else on this forum? I have nothing against darwin but I have to admit this is pretty potent venom.

Posted - 03/26/2010 : 14:08:15 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Admittedly I haven't listened to all the podcasts, but I was thinking today about how so many FB/BF songs are about or at least mention places, and how many of the people I know who love him, love to travel. Also, his music is pretty much perfect for driving. So I guess it's just a loose idea for a podcast or at least a discussion. Does Frank's music make you want to travel more, or does traveling want to make you listen to Frank's music? I don't know, it's hard to come up with ideas for podcasts,-you guys do a great job! darwin
Posted - 03/26/2010 : 16:25:16 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You could call the podcast, "Places named by Frank".

this one is pretty good, imo. short, helpful, and to the point.

The only other person I can remember assassinating was bumblebeeboy2, who did a really bad cover of "The Thing". I didn't like his cover AT ALL, but I made no personal attacks. (His "I'm Amazed" was pretty good, I remember.)
A few people assassinated me. AdamWest, back on December 4, 2003, told me directly that I was being a huge imposition on Dean, that I was being extremely demanding, and that my self-interest was in doing the bare minimum. Stung like a bitch.
Ah well. I feel bad about having made this thread. I ended up liking Darwin a lot, and I remember how outspoken he was about Dave Noisy deleting the "Pictures of Beautiful Women" thread. |
