Dear KOK
I suffer from a lifelong fear of chameleons. You seem like the right person to come to with this.
It all started when I was little and everywhere I went there were these huge chameleons, that look nothing like the cute little guys so comfortably housed Chez KOK. They'd often surprise me by crawling up the shower wall while l was trying to bathe; one poked its head thru a window in my second grade classroom and my Catholic school girl classmates and I shrieked out of the room in our little uniforms; another kept coming down my parents' house chimney and my dad, the bastard, shot it dead.
They were big and scary and I am scarred for life.
I figure they must have some redeeming qualities if you love them so.
Any suggestions?
Wait! Should this be in the Ask Dean thread? But Dean isn't the chameleon fan, you are. So here, do your best.
Thanks

Kathryn, I think I would need a more in depth description of these "chameleons" that have caused you so much pain throughout your lifetime. Judging soley on you description of them, I would be inclined to believe that the creature you are describing is in fact not a chameleon at all, but actually this creature.
He was in a band in the mid to late eighties. He sang that horrible song Karma, Karma, Karma, karma, karma, karma, karma, karma, karma, karma, karma, karma, karma, karma karma, karma, etc. etc., CHAMELEON. Could this be where the confusion comes in? He is one scarey individual. I know if he poked his head into my classroom I would have gone out shrieking in my little uniform too. That actually happened to me once but it was a spider that poked it's horrible head thru a window in my classroom. I ran out of the class, shrieking, in my little uniform as well. You know? I used to get a lot of flak for wearing that little uniform, because I went to a public school. Although it may have been because I was a senior in highschool at the time and weighed damn near 180 lbs. In fact, here's a picture: |

Dear KOK
I am so glad that you have begun a sub-thread here, offering help and guidance. May the healing begin.
Sadly, I could not view the pixyland pix you so kindly put up.
Maybe next time?

Dear KOK
Two pieces of news:
1) I just tried that again and got the same message that "hot linking in pixyland is not permitted." Jason, I am a married woman! I didn't realize you were trying to hot link with me. Though I am flattered. And a little flushed.
2) I just had 10 inches cut off my hair. I feel breezy and free. It's a girlish feeling but I thought I'd share.

There. That's me back in 1985. My hair was longer and I was more buff because I was a cheerleader but that's me. Boy, I sure miss those eighties styles don't you Kathryn?

I always thought it was Fusball (with an accent over the u) and assuemd it was German. Anyhoo, you may well be the King Of Karaoke, but I am the kind of Fusball/foosball! Don't even try and compete with me.
I am not sure how I missed this thread the first time around. Actually I think it may have been whilst I was away.
Oh and it looks like you are gettign your ass kicked at Hungry Hippos to me. Your mate seems to have more balls than you (pardon the expression). If you lie about this then I can only assume you lie about Fusball/Foosball too. No matter, I would beat you anyway.

KOK, can we get a close-up shot of the Frank Black bumper sticker? Your place is pretty nice but the Frank bumper sticker's the highlight of the Casa De KOK experience.

Jesus Monkey! How did you find this thing? Can anyone find my "top ten list of way to make friends and influence people" I posted last year? I lost it from my files when U upgraded my system. It was one of my finest works.

Right you are, LFB! A Sasquatch is not capable of influencing people or having friends. A Sasquatch is a noble, yes, but also sme creatures of the wild.

Yes, it's almost as elusive as the thread where Frank said he would play a private concert for the forum members.
