I never visit places I can't pronounce. Shame though, I'm looking for a bass player. I'm in the process of teaching my honey pie bass until my little grrl is strong enough to hold it herself. Her little two year old fingers aren't yet up to the task.
Won't be long though. No Calluses, No Christmas! |

I really don't know how to play mine (well, lately I've been playing around with the bass tabs for the song 'Good For Nothin' by Dance Hall Crashers) but I just had to have it. You know? my dad played bass |

I know. (my dad played guitar. that old adage, "they may not have sold many records, but they inspired people to play" to me rings true for parents who played a little, too)
If you ever need any bass tabs of Pixies or Mr Black just holler. |

I am currently strumming on these two chaps.....
Stonebridge D-40-CM - Simple looks, great tone and playability
And a Mexican standard white strat, which has a great action but shit tone. Also goes out of tune all the time. I am gonna frankenstein it to hell when I get together some cashish.

I don't have a digital camera at the moment, but i have a 4 string fretted bass (american black walnut/birdseye fretboard) which i made myself and a 94' Warwick Streamer 4string also fretted. The Streamer is strung with flats.. I also recently bought a Korean Telecaster just like this one....
It needed some set up, which took me a little while since i am not used to setting up guitars at all, but now it plays really nicely. Got to get myself an amp next, leaning towards a Mesa Express 5:50/F-50 if i can afford one at some point. |

I've got a Tanglewood Strat copy which I bought off a guy with no fingers (seriously). I can't even find any info on it. It's not the best but for messing around with it in my bedroom it's perfect.
Plus I've got a Chantry acoustic I bought for £40 new. It does it's job.

I used to own that guitar! First guitar I bought for myself with my own money. Right after graduation in 1994. I pawned it about half a year later.
So young and dumb. Wish I never let it go. |

Yeah, cheap Squires sure beat cheap Epiphones.
There was a korean made G+L tele sitting around in a local guitar store yest. It just had to be played. Absolutely beautiful, played as well as my American model! |

I disagree - i greatly prefer epiophones to squires (but fenders to gibsons). But hey, that's just me.
I think i want to invest in a reverse delay pedal to complete my simple pedal board of tuner, tremelo, and distortion.

I was referring to the low end models; there are some fine Epiphones, but their cheap LP copies go out of tune quickly and are shoddily made. |

Alright Carl... Nice, and get an amp when you go to get that strap....
Here's a shot from our first gig since '99. It felt great to wail on the Invader and air out the Marshalls...

Unfortunately, life slowly got in the way of my dad's playing and he stopped. I can feel it happening to me too, but I'm fighting it the best I can by stealing some precious moments to make noise in the garage.
It's so good to see this photo, Steak.

I've been a member here for a long time, but just recently started playing about 6-7 months ago. Here's is what I have acquired so far.
My 2 biggest fans... (only fans at that!)
The silver is an American Strat Roadhouse Ed. w/ Texas Special pickups Ibanez PF series acoustic (my very first guitar) Peavy Predator - what I started learning on. (first electric) Peavy TKO65 w/a pair of Grado cans on top Also not pictured is a Fender Squire Precession Bass and a Roland MicroCube practice amp. Now that I type it all out like that I see where all my money is going. lol

In 2006 I was only half way into this!
The strap locks went missing over the last year.
There is much concern over it here. |

Now close to being my No. 1 with Dr. Chow, this old G&L Cavalier based one-off takes over where my Invader XL neck P-U ends. Enjoy!.... BW
