I think it's brilliant. I think the Catholics should tour as soon
as the Pixies summer tour's over.
That said, I wonder which coastline he's talking about? Or is
it all figuritive?

Maybe it's literally a Horse Racetrack on the coastline of California that he re-connected with an old acquaintance. Him and this old acquaintance used to ride, surf or skate not far from the location just down the Coastline.

I keep hearing there is supposedly an extended/full length version of this song out there somewhere. Don't know in what context though, whether it's an extra verse or an extended coda. I do not know... Anybody?
