| Yeah sure. I just can't stand this overdriven, glitchy drum effects. Always feel like it's a cheap trick in attempt to add some mystery. Same thing on Bang on on Mountain Battles. |

This album is so damn good. I'm not trying to be controversial or inflammatory here, but it puts the Pixies album to shame.
With the new Pixies I am having all these inner negotiations with myself, well, that song has parts I like, that sound is kind of cool, that bit there is ok...
I put this Kim Deal album on and it's basically all great. No defensiveness, no debating with myself, no forcing myself to like it. It's just great. |

These two albums by Charles and Kim are so good, it makes me wonder what the two of them could have done together. Feels to me like they are on similar wavelengths now too
To get two amazing albums in the same month is really a special time in music |
