I don't know if anyone knows this information - we've been looking all over for info, but does anyone know who directed the 'Head On' video?
or even any good links that might bring up the answer?

The only site I found said Howard Greenhalgh. But when I crossed checked it, it seems that he is the director of Jesus & Mary Chains version in `98. Not the Pixies version in `91. Sorry.

i thought maybe itd be on the video i have downloaded of it since it was taken from MTV2, but apparently they didnt even credit the director on that

i'm guessing from that fact that you don't know Jo that it was an Elektra-commissioned video....
if not, i find it extremely bizarre that you guys can't figure it out....
i tried to have a look, but to no avail.

| it is bizarre - whats even more bizarre is that there's nothing online... its a mystery (as Toyah once sang!) - a very odd one indeed! Saw the video for the first time last night (I borrowed the test DVD discs for the upcoming release.. it's looking ACE!) |

Would it help you get that DVD out quicker if I said I directed it? (Even though I obviously didn't). |

why not just put some random name on it for release, and wait for the real director to either contact you about it complaining that he is being ignored, or for him to sue you.
surely he'll come out of the woodwork, or someone who knows will.
i know, not ideal, but might be worth a giggle.
and jo,
mind if i pop round for a session with those test dvd's?
i'll bring some wine.

hehe, isaac, I don't have them any more - I was only allowed them for the one night :) we shall have to meet up soon though!
ahh I'm sure we'll find it somehow... it isn't holding things up as such, its just there's nothing anywhere!
