Has anyone paid any attention to the fact that FB and the catholics have not released a schedule of a north america tour for 03-04-? um wonder whats goin on?

I heard a few months ago, before all these freakin Pixies rumors, that they were supposed to tour the US in the Spring of 2004. No idea what's going on now at this point.

Seems to me like NA tour plans have been put on hold because they are practising & getting ready for the Pixies stuff. Likely we wont see a full-scale NA tour for FB&C until late 2004 or early 2005.
This is all conjecture on my part, but everything seems to indicate that IMO.

Well, they don't need to do a ton of stuff to get ready for a small club tour. They didn't release info very long in advance when they toured last spring either.

I've heard that they'll be touring the US in between Pixies gigs, meaning poor Frank will be tired. (He's Been Tired).

It's not so much that it's a big deal as it's to not make a big deal... there are about three people between myself and the original 'person in the know' so it's probably not all that reliable and it's also not my place to say.
I was expecting an announcement to be made two weeks ago one way or the other, but still we have no official word. :(

Why is FB wasting his and our time on Pixies rehash? A handful of Pixies classics are nice at a live show but that era is over. I like FB because hes always moving forward. Sorry, just my take

I know, sorry. I am just impatient and thought the "official word" would be about the Catholics - given the topic we're in. Call me crazy. All this mystery is annoying, IMHO.
And perhaps if pigs CAN fly we can assume that also means the Catholics are remaining grounded...which is depressing to me.
I'm off to cry quietly in the corner now.
