Hi FB Fans,
Just wondering if some could help me with a music related problem.
I've recently started to learn the drums, to my neigbours despair, and read/write sheet music. For practice I've been trying to write out the music for a variety of songs. The problem that I'm having is i just can put my finger on the time signature for "there goes my gun". Am I just being really stupid or does the time signature change?
Again, please bear in mind that i'm really new to this so be kind in your responses 
Any help appreiciated

its 3/4 or 6/8, which are basically the same but with 6/8 youd play quicker eighth notes

6/8 is what i initially came up with listening to the verse but it doesnt seem to carry through the chorus

That song blows my fucking mind. The guitar sounds like his wrist is going rapidfire...it's crazy.

I'd say 3/4... it doesn't have that characteristic 1-2 that you get from a 6/8 signature. That said, the difference is really academic.

| The verse is 6/4. The chorus riff is three measures in 4/4 + one in 2/4. |

| Oops. I should add that musical scholars would tell you I'm wrong and to multiply everything I said by 3/4ths. So actually, it's one and half measures of 6/8 for the verse riff, and 3 and half measures of same for the chorus riff. I just prefer saying "4/4 with a triplet feel" as opposed to "6/8". Sorry. |
