another long time FB/Pixies listener, first time poster with his two cents here:
I strongly disagree with all the naysayers. There have been many remarkable reunions recently and I have no reason to believe the Pixies wouldn't be anything but wonderful, at the very least. Some examples of other bands that got it right: Mission of Burma, Wire, (I was lucky enough to see both of them) Rocket From the Tombs, and the Stooges (I was unfortunate enough to miss both of them but by all accounts they were both also amazing.)
I agree with those who have replied that everyone on this board will be snatching up tickets if there is a reunion, even those who have been shitting on the idea.
In any case, I'm happy to join this forum. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, yall!

Hmmm....
This could be true, it could be more rumour without
any truth.
But one thing I must say is:
If this is true and they go one tour, and maybe
another record I really hope they ALL make a
good bit of money from it all, as much as I think they
are afraid of it!
Frankly, I know Frank can kick out the jams if he
puts his mind to it.
He always has and always will.
Maybe he should drop a few tabs of acid and
trip on back to twenty years ago.
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.
