If any of you Beefheart fans haven't read Mike Barnes' Captain Beefheart biography, you're missing out. It's really, really good. That man makes Zappa look like Reagan. It's amazing those musicians can still function after the torture CB put them through.
And they kept on coming back for more!!!!!!!!!! I got Zoot Horn Rolo's book at long last, but I am almost afraid to read it. On the back cover it says something like: "even the most avid of the Captain's followers will have doubts about the man having read this account of life within the Magic Band".
