I just watched that movie again and I realized they play that song in the comic book store near the end. I can't remember where the topic was about FB songs in movies, but I think someone may have mentioned it. I just thought that was cool, and definitely an interesting choice of all the pixies songs to choose from.
Signs is a pretty good movie. It's cool when you can see through the alien's body at the end part.
Anyhoo

hey this might be a good spot for me to ask..... does anyone know of any Catholics songs in movies? so far Here Comes Your Man has come up with (1) bullet in Crime & Punishment in Suburbia (2) I heard Ramona sing in some arbitrary Tv programme Hard-core, die-hard FB fans please impress me with your knowledge, and even though i don't think it's currently a FAQ, (its scarecity limiting it here) maybe it should be considered a candidate for the FAQ list (FAQ lists don't always include FREQUENTLY asked questions, as long as they're interesting, relevant questions, don't you agree???)

I Heard Ramona Sing (the instrumental intro) was in "Andy Richter Controlled The Universe" last season. It played as the show came back from commercial. Excellent, hilarious show by the way...check it out. |

funnily enough, in the world cup (soccer) coverage of the 1998 finals, BBC used 'tossed' as a theme for a section called 'one to watch' where the pundits talked about dangerous players on each team. it was pretty good it has to be said.
There may be no 'I' in team, but there's a 'ME' if you look hard enough. |

I hated "Unbreakable", saw it in the theaters (funny enough, everyone I know who's seen it either REALLY loved it or REALLY hated it, no in betweens), don't remember the Pixies being played. We managed to get 40 ozs. into the theater, I think I had drunk myself stupid by the end, so that may explain my not remembering it. |

I didn't hate it, but it wasn't a very good movie, imo. |

I loved it! Same here though; I know of no in-betweeners. Signs sucked. |

I just saw Unbreakable for the first time the other night with my girlfriend, and she got annoyed at me because I wouldn't stop singing along during the comic book store scene.
