Okay, I live in Kansas and I have only heard frank black on the radio twice, and that was the college station. My question is: Do hear frank on the radio in your state? What state is it? I'm trying to find out if kansas is just that lame or if frank is getting any radio time anywhere.

I never listen to the radio - mostly because I never hear anything good like Frank or people I actually want to hear.

i haven't heard Frank on non-College radio since the TOTY days, when they would occasionally play Abstract Plain.

i don't listen to any commercial radio anymore so i wouldn't know.. but i would bet my life that they'll never play another Frank song on KROQ, unless Frank does some duo with Fred Durst or something..

they play him on KXLU though (here in Los Angeles) along with other good stuff..

now streaming live at www.kxlu.com

(no i don't work there .. it's just the only good station in LA)

palabra a tu madre.

in switzerland there are a pretty cool station radio call "couleur 3". they play often frank black, like robert onion, or more recently "black letter day" song.
or pixies too : here comes your man, monkeys gone to heaven, gouge away. last year they play a frank black show, a concert in switzerland. so, very nice station radio

Some college radio is worth listening to, if you live in a good college town. However, I am too lazy to fine tune those weak stations!

I am very aware how much the radio sucks. I was just hoping that maybe somewhere... You know I should move to Switzerland. An entire FB show? That really rocks.

Didn't think Frank played CH when in Europe last (unless it was in the summer of 2001). Was sitting in Geneva at my friend's trying to find out where he was after Paris and it turns out he played Strasborg but I found out a day late... was upset and then he went Germany and I went to Interlaken...

college radio is cool ( i work for a station, i'm the music director) but a lot of stations are getting kicked in the taco so to speak by new legislature on internet streaming, plus it costs good money to broadcast off campus, so some stations like mine are relegated to only broadcasting to the campus. but they hear a lot of FB because of me (one week i played a different FB solo/Catholics album every day during my lunch hour show)

College radio is cool, and I think you are even cooler for playing all that Frank Black. I especially enjoy KJHK. Every time I listen to the station I hear something new. I finally figured out why I hate corporate music so much. It all sounds exactly the same. It is ridiculous. Some of those songs sound like they're off of the same CD. I wonder how bad it is going to get? A lot of people have some lame, watered down tastes in music. I know it is there right to listen to shit, but look at Frank Black. An amazing musician that doesn't get the credit he deserves. I'm thankful that he knows that he rocks just as we know, because a lot of musicians would have given up by now.

"Radio K" (I can't remember the real call letters, AM 770 here in Minneapolis) play FB, Pixies, etc. They also sponsored when the Breeders and Imperial Teen came to town, so I'd imagine they would also be the ones to organized FB/C appearances here as well.
