i saw the midnight showing of the movie. it was good, especially if you like those kinds things and have seen the first one (there is no recap). i think this one ends on a better part than the first one did so if that kinda upset you about the last one, you might be happier this time. its worth seeing though. now i want to see gangs of new york, i hear good things about it and its a scorcese film so i guess im supposed to assume that its atleast somewhat good. who knows
it opens here tonight. i have also been informed that you will be doing well to see it before christmas day here - due to all of the shows being sold out. really looking forward to it. liv is a bit of alright too :o)
this movie was AMAZING - i work at a theater so we got a special "preview" showing before the general public around 11 last night (we didn't have a midnight show) and it totally kept me captivated and wanting more for close to 3 hours. Less focus of Frodo and Aragon (although still the two main characters) but Gimley, Legolas, Merry and Pipin all are actual characters this time and you grow to understand them a lot more and care about them. Damn this was amazing! i'm going again monday i think... -Brian
yah legolas is the man. i never thought a bow and arrow could be that damn powerful. broken face you should see the extended dvd of the first one, 40 mins of new scenes, and a couple where legolas is raping the urik-hai or whatever with his bow.
