He is not even human, imo.
I had a theory awhile back that both he and Janet were the same person.

I always thought it was he and Latoya who were the same person. Cause you NEVER see them together, and they are both SO scary. Janet, I could generally tolerate - but then she had to have a 'secret marriage' and puh-leeze! Who does that??

Oh, man, and dangling that poor child with a rag over it's head! Like a hostage. How screwed up are your priorities when shielding your infant's anonymity is more important than protecting its life--the strange twin impulses to display and conceal the kid simultaneously. I remember when I was little and he was still pre-surgically handsome. Poor bastard. He must be the unhappiest person on earth.

I actually met him once when I was a kid during the Thriller tour (long story) and never once did he try to lure me into his dressing room with plastic surgery...the long and short of it: he now is a complete mess...could you imagine sitting down with him and saying "dude what's going on?"

I think that by now his head is down to literally a skull and a few scattered patches of skin.

Like in the old days they would say "go put your face on; we've gotta go" in reference to a woman's makeup.

Poor Jacko I seriously believe must literally have his nose and cheeks and forehead applied to his "Thriller zombie understudy" noggin before going out. When time does not permit the renovations, he dons that gas mask.

And what's the deal with his spider bites? Perhaps even more peculiar, what's the deal with the judge being satisfied after talking to MJ's physician? I betcha that is one well-paid M(f-in')D.

Love those cupcakes!

RE. the infamous MJ - I completely agree about the whole baby dangling incident, and the fact that he was giggling and clearly very INTO it was also very scary. Like a kid with a doll.

I also was just reading (in Rolling Stone - and is this music news??) varying opinions about whether his nose IS or IS NOT a fake one that he glues to his skull before leaving the house.

Yeah, I can see it now. We form a splinter group: The Frank Black Estrogen Brigade. Publish a fanzine: Catholic Boys. Fill it with such features as "Eric Drew Feldman: Behind the Goatee." And recipes. "Try the chocolate chip away muffins. They're divine!"

Lordy!

Yes, I survived. I couldn't slip any SG Standards down my pants and out of the plant though.

The security guard would've thought I was just "happy to see him".

It's funny, when I took pictures from the Atlanta show, I realize when I got them back, that I had taken most of the pictures of Rich and Dave because they both have SGs. I wanted to show them at work so maybe we could send them some for free.

I tried.

Luckily, I don't have to work any more saturdays for a while.

Yeah, he does! The lucky guy.
Swimmer, you are too funny with the 'happy to see him comment'!!
Very cute.

The SGs are nice, but I really like my Les Paul best. I've never had an SG tho, so I guess I'm not really qualified to say.

Hey, does Gibson have a 'slightly blemished/imperfect' thing for employees?? I know Martin used to have something like that. Just wondering, maybe Derek could get one that way somehow...

I'm trying for you Derek.

There's a store near me called Guitar Villa. Ask for Jim and tell him I told you to call(he calls me Sue, he's a really nice guy and a friend of mine). They have a nice inventory of used, so you may luck out there. I know they'll ship anywhere. The number is 610-746-9200.

Good luck,

No. Gibson is notoriously tight. There are no blemished or 2nd Gibsons. They are destroyed. Only blem or 2nd Epiphones.

SGs and Les Pauls are cool, but I really like Kramer 1984 Van Halen Guitars.

Please don't believe that above statement.

He scares me still. I think he is trying to be a freaky oracle or something...

Jacko Still Loves Them Kids
Unlike his infant son, Michael Jackson won't leave us dangling.

The pop oddity, who provoked international ire by dangling a baby (his) from a hotel balcony in Germany last month, wants the world to know of his plans for 2003. And, no, they don't include further high-rise hijinks.

They do, however, include children.

"I look forward to the new year, to working with you children and to create an organization that will help other children," Jackson said in a holiday message last week.

In the New York Daily News, a Jackson source said the new charity does not yet have a name--"but it's going to be worldwide, kids helping other kids who are less fortunate, with a concert kicking it off."

Jackson looked arena-ready in his Christmas videotape, outfit in a white-sequined military-style jacket.

As is his way, he spoke directly to the children ("Good evening, children, and Merry Christmas"), with only occasional overtures to the overgrown kids.

"To all the grownups, I'd like to say this: To us, so many things seem important. Sometimes we think we are important. But we are not. Nothing is more important than our children," Jackson said.

The "Bad" crooner went on to remind self-important adults that "it is our obligation to be there for [the children], to advise them, to motivate them, to help them, and to love them."

To his beloved children of the world, Jackson promised that while this year he was "sending [them] a few little gifts," he could "do the same all over Europe, and then, all over the world" with their help in 2003.

"We can do it!" Jackson said.

Apparently recovered from the spider bite that forced him to hobble into a California court earlier this month for his ongoing civil trial over a pair of canceled millennium concerts, Jackson spoke of happiness--or, something like that.

"When I create music I always hope that my music will give joy to many people," he said. "If that happens I am very happy. Giving joy makes one happy."
