| Hey there, praps this should go in the FTP forum but I think it would be more effective here. Does anyone know how to remove the dj's voice on the peel radio show and would anyone be willing to do it and post the results. Thise songs are so well done that it really irritates me when his voice overlaps the resonance at the end - even the the beginning bothers me a bit. Anyhoo, I was just wondering if anyone else thought this would be a good idea. |

| It is really difficult from an *.mp3 format. But with a *.wav file and audio production software (i.e. pro tools) it could be done okay. But it is complicated and difficult and quite frankly a waste of alot of time. |

geez, you guys complain about everything i upload! :/ and now Dave ignores my emails. Yeah, I'm SO motivated to upload more stuff to the FTP now. (on top of that, we're not even sure if Frank approves of it!)
OK, sorry for the whining. If all you guys want is to chop off Mr. Peel and fade in/out where necessary, I could probably do that and re-upload them soon. But that would likely clip off a little bit of music, and personally i prefer having the songs talked over a little, than to have them start late and stop early. (I think Peel does this on purpose to piss off bootleggers/traders.. he didn't used to be so bad with it.) |

| sorry, I wasn't meaning to complain. I like having the original too. You're probably right though, it migh affect the song. Damn Peel! It's jut that his damn high pitched voice ruins all effect on songs like sister isabel. Oh well. |
