How about an official release of Sunday Sunny Mill Valley Groove Day. Sure I could just burn a copy, but oh what fun it is to rip off the wrapper of a new Frank Black cd read the Liner Notes and decipher the Lyrics.

i heard him say before that he couldnt get the sound he wanted for SSMVGD and that he was disappointed with it because i guess he liked the songs a lot but couldnt get them the way he hoped for. with that in mind i dont think he would ever officially release it becuase he himself wasnt very happy with it. I personally like the sound a lot, it makes me think im listening to like an older record or something, i dont know, thats the best way i can describe it, but i think it fits the songs really well. but anyway, id be surprised if there was an actual release

The Beatles didn't want to release Let it Be, but I'm greatful that they did. There's a tone of great tracks and it has a completely unique sound. The artists are not necessarily the best judges of their own music. Just release it and let it be. 1c |

I'm sure there will be an answer. I don't think we'll see an official release of it anytime soon since he already has another album in the works, and theres only so many he can put out at a time and make money off of, I'd think atleast. |

Hell, I'd buy maxi cd's with 3 or 4 full songs and a few out takes or rehersals if it were offered by him every few months as an online purchase. His cd singles are impossible to find.
