ah, it's a good one! I don't know, C#m is quite cool, since I heard the recording where Frank said he's got lots of C#m I've been playing it more. It is indeed a cool chord...

Your hands not used to bar chords yet?
They will be, with practice!!!
Em is indeed the easiest chord to play.

Yeah I am well aware of that but I just wondered if there were certain chords that people tend to gravitate towards more than others.

I would say that my favorite chord is Em7. I'm also a fan of Fsus4.

My favourite for sure is open E major. Something about the way it rings just sounds so perfect. Then again it just might be because it's the first chord for Where is My Mind?

I just "invented" this chord the other day
e--4-- pointer b--5-- middle g--6-- ring d--7-- pinky a--0-- e--5-- thumb
sounds good if you use a capo on the third fret (or second, etc) and adjust the fingering accordingly. I like how the E A and D strings are all A notes. I hope I tabbed that right because i don't have my guitar on me

I like going from open E to E Maj 7. (Drop down one fret on the D string -- or do the same on any F-shape barre chord.)

Prolly C#m, though I love that nifty C7/Cdim/C7 switch you specially find on Mills Brothers songs.

Anything with a 9th on it is a spankin good time. Just wait till they find the elusive H chord. The world will tilt on a new axis.
