| Just curious, how many of you would buy a DVD of the reunited Pixies at Coachella? Or should they wait until the Pixies have played together awhile before taping a performance? |

I read somewhere that there is usually a live broadcast of the coachella festival... it would be nice
anyway big festivals are usually taped... |

| I would buy ANY Pixie DVD release. Coachella would be awesome, because it's a huge festival with lots of people, big stage, big production, etc. But it would also be cool to put another concert on the DVD as well, like the Boise show that will hold only 1,000 in a small, intimate venue. Plus, I'll be at both of those shows, so it'd be awesome to have a professional copy of those experiences. |

Anyone smell a Pixies version of Pearl Jam's "Touring Band 2000" DVD?
It's a cool idea. Take a performance form each show on the tour. However I doubt 4AD would pay for another DVD this year.

Maybe 4ad doesn't have the rights to anything the pixies are releasing now

Yes, the Pixies contract has ended with 4AD. However to release a DVD of new matereal they'd need some company to pay for and distribute it. Which mean signing a contract with a company.
That may be a bit much unless they have plans for more than a 2nd DVD.

4AD will issue a DVD, 'Pixies', which will be comprised of 8 videos, a 1988 London concert and a documentary, 'Gouge', with interviews from Thom Yorke, David Bowie, Brian Molko ...
