there are some really nice pubs in London.
One i highly recommend is the Greenwich Union, which is suprisingly in Greenwich.
They brew their own beer and it is fabulous.
The chocolate and white beers are superb.
there are also some really nice ones right on the Thames that are full of character.
and yummy...staropramen....i wish they sold all the varieties of it you can get in Prague, cause some are much nicer than the one here...ie Staropramen Granat is superb.
hmm..beer.

I couldnt be bothered to quote everyone - so here ;
I never actually noticed until simon kindly pointed it out to me the similarites...
When I watched MTV2 and he was on there (is he still on that?) I used to have the BIGGEST crush on him....so this is all working in my favour. hehehe. And the comment about David Arquette! *drools* oh yeah...
London Pubs...hmm. Well, to be quite honest, Im always a bit too drunk and /or excited when im in london to notice the pubs that much. But I can not actually think of any 'nice' pubs ive been too.
HAs any one been to purple turtle in Reading? Oh wow, it is amazing. it plays great music, has film posters everywhere, sells red stripe, AND ITS PURPLE!!!!! its like its made for me.
Theres one in london apparently, but not very good, apparently.
Ive only really been too venues and gigs in london, and a few pre gig pubs...I used to love Camden underworld -it rocks, as does the garage, buffalo bars, the spitz (in aldgate), erm, some more im missing out - ohh, dirty water club is great - but the beer sucks. do not drink the beer!! but they have amazing bands playing every friday (buff medways have a residency there once a month). and little booths with a chandelier. hehehe.
anyway, yeah, eww, slug and lettuce...one down here in brighton. yuk.

Basically American people don't realise that American Werewolf In London is based on a true story!!!
Speaking of werewolves, I saw a poll at work today and werewolves were voted the scariest monster beating the likes of Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster (came last with NO votes, time for an image change methinks Frankie old boy) and even the Devil himself  (surely the creator all things evil and therefore the winner by default). Having said that I actually agree with it. Werewolves scare the hell out of me. That's why I don't go onto the moors. Hmmm I think I may start a new thread about monsters!!!

You're right that would be cool but it's actually from a short animation featured on MTV2. It's creator also does the Anchor butter ads (UK only). Basically they feature egg shaped cows that look a little like Kyle's baby brother, Iyke (sic), from South Park. It's quite far out and random, which is why I love it so!!! I would love to know who the creators are and see more of their work!!!

Thanks, yeah, I just saw it last night - it's called "art" - I realized the moment I saw it that I had seen it before. Where's the part where "Lo! I have become death! Stealer of pie!!! is said? I must have missed it.
Dunno why, but it just doesn't tickle my funny bone. Lord knows I wish it did -I could use a good laugh lately.
