Does anyone else like his solo work? I think he's a complete genius. It's really a shame he died, especially the way he did; it was so preventable. If he would have stayed alive and cleaned up his act a little, I think he really could have followed in the footsteps of Brian.
I love his very raspy voice, and Pacific Ocean Blue is absolutely beautiful (Time, Farewell My Friend, Moonshine, End Of The Show: all great songs). I don't really care for the Bamboo stuff quite as much with all the r&b flavor and what-not, but some of the songs are still great.

I've been meaning to hear POB for a while. Forever is one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

He was diving in a river to retrieve some stuff he'd lost whilst heavily intoxicated. I think he came up a few times and brought stuff up and then went down again never to come up.
BTW, you can definitely get POB on Soulseek

Dennis Wilson drowned. I think he surfed after a couple of alcoholic beverages. The odd thing was that, on the day that he died, he had three surfing sessions prior to the session that caused his death.
Not 100% sure of this, however. |

River? Wasn't it the ocean? He lived on a house boat for quite some time. It was docked. I guess in a rage his (ex)girlfriend/wife threw some of his stuff out of the boat and into the ocean. He had problems with drugs and alcohol...as stated, he was drunk and went diving down to get some of the stuff. He did come back up a few times but never again. Very sad.
