Haven't seen this mentioned yet, so appologies if it has! but noticed the other day that the fantastic Alec Eiffel (very comprehensive Pixies fan site) site has at last been updated! if you've never seen it it's well worth a look!

It's a great site. However they need a new host. Lycos has way too many adds.

i love eiffel. it was one of the first pixies page i came across, and the one i liked the most. it's like a stonehenge. ive no idea who made it and i think it had only been updated once since ive been looking at it, but its always been there. also people always talk of its mystical connection with the solstice...kinda, sorta.

Two French guys made this site, Jean-Michel Biel and another guy whose name I can't remember. It is a great site, actually.

Yeah Alec Eiffel is a classic site. It needs to be archived so that it is never lost. Did anyone ever visit the old crashsite website back around `96. That was one of my favorite weird sites. But then one day, *poof* it disappeared to never be seen again. :(

Alec Eiffel is the definitive Pixies website.
It was soo much information, and it is just awesome.

but i agree they need to move it to a new server.
and i hope it becomes more active now with the reunion.
it deserves to be.

"You one of those right wing nut outfits?" inquired the diplomatic Metzger.
Fallopian twinkled. "They accuse us of being paranoids."
"They?" inquired Metzger, twinkling also.
"Us?" asked Oedipa.
