Here are a few pics from Frank's preformance at Virgin Records in NYC. I really enjoyed his preformance, it was great to see him on his own without a band. He had a ton of energy!
Afterwards, I got Frank to sign a few promo posters and told him how much I enjoyed seeing him the night before at The Stony Pony. My ears are still ringing from the night before and Frank commented, "It was loud wasn't it?" I said, "It sure was, but it was the best show I ever seen!" I gave him a DVD of one of my favorite movies, Opera (I wonder what he thought of it) and I told him how much I enjoyed The Bennies, which I considered them the best opening act Frank ever had. I then went onto see him at Bowery Ballroom.

Sorry, the light in Virgin was pretty bad, but at least you can sorta see him! |

big red, are you talking about Dario Argento's OPERA?
just curious. i saw it a little while ago, but have to say, i didn't like it as much as SUSPERIA.. nonetheless, you can't go wrong with Italian Horror..
or anything Italian for that matter.

Indeed, it is! While Frank is my favorite musician, Dario Argento is my favorite filmmaker. I gave it to Frank, I hope he'll enjoy it. |

Have you guys seen the scene in I think it's called "Shock" or something, by Bava I think, one of his last movies, where the kid runs up to his mom in the hall and pops up as her dead husband? That's a good scene OK? It wouldn't be nearly so freaky had the actor not been (or appeared to be) a woman with no breasts and fake beard stubble, or maybe a halfway transexual or something.
