The West Colunbia show at the New Brookland Tavern was quite rockin' if I say so myself. David Lovering's scientific phenomlist bit is quite an entertaining break from the openers, both of which I found enjoyable. FB and the Cs came out about 10:15 or so and rocked for about 2 hours straight. It was the smallest venue I had ever been in so it was pretty amazing sounding. I didn't write the setlist, but they pretty much played a couple songs from each album, although I don't think he played any from FB. I took a bunch of pictures that I'll get developed tommorow I suppose. Anyway...
was an excellent show! we were thrilled to have him in town. anyway, opened with gouge away, played monkey gone to heaven, wave of mutilation, six sixty six, freedom rock...i didn't write anything down. would love to see a setlist. he signed my teenager of the year cd cover...was great to see him in such a small venue. very intimate.
I thought it was an excellent show as well. Its not often we get such good shows in Columbia. Be sure to share any pictures with the group once you get them developed.
