Pretty lame topic, but I have no doubt someone can help. I need to change a wav file from stereo sound to mono sound, anyone know how I can do this?

couldn't you just copy it in a media player and specify mono? seems possible.

use acid pro.open the .wav file and choose one of the two channels then save it.
 join the cult of errol\and you can have a beer\without having to quit smoking

That's a bad idea because if you have something panned all the way on one side it might be missing from your mono file.
You can use iTunes to do this. Just change your import settings to 44.1, 16bit mono and then convert the stereo file. It will sum the two channels to mono.

You can use just about any recording software you have, if you have any.
Hand held shower nozzles are the demon enemy of the patriarch and should be destroyed. |

I tried using cdex but it didnt have the option. In the end I used nero. It was all a waste anyway cos I was trying to make a midi file, turns out you need rythm and it doesn't just make a nifty midi for you, you have to help it along the way.
Well thanks anyway. I always know I can rely on the people here for guidance.
Next up, why does it burn when I pee?

Don't know, but Im sure there's some sort of Norton Antivirus patch for it.

the way i have been doing it at present is using the audio editing bit of EAC.
just been copying one channel and pasting it over the other to make it mono.
piss easy.
cook me some fucking eggs! |
