All this attention to Black Francis and Kimmy Deal is disturbing.

DAVID LOVERING IS THE GENUIS BEHIND THE PIXIES!

He had the best voice as evidenced on 'La La Love You'

Plus he's a hell of a magician, I saw him when he opened for Frank Black in St. petersburg, Fl last year.

well obviously he is just as important as any of the other 3 members.

but kim is sexy

and frank is frank.

i was amused at his opening act but hardly a hell of a magician. he was like a stoner version of mr. wizard.

And Joseph Alberto Santiago is... well Joseph Alberto Santiago. Or not as the case may be but he sure as hell lends atmosphere to a band who stand out because of it!

I know this thread was started in jest, but one of the reasons I love the Pixies is that there are no weak links. Dave L is an excellent drummer...busy but never overplaying. He nails what a lot of drummers miss-having hooks in the drum parts. Just for that rockin' fill in Where Is My Mind he gets a gold star. So I guess you can sign me up for the fan club!

I'm the guy from wonderland...& you will never understand...
