Well, I am sorry it might not seem like playing along but Frank Black and The Catholics have the fantasy lineup for me. They are the perfect match.

LOL, hahaha, thanks... flattery will get you everywhere, but I'm sure we could find any million better pianists than I. I'll start compiling a list...

None of them play any instruments. Swish.
Well, my cousin Con (which is the same name as Dean in Greek) is a musician in Montreal, but into the electronic end of things.

Doesn't matter if they play instruments. The piano was just supposed to be something to vent out frustration on, intensifying the trashy breakdown of "The Marsist". And yes, that is also the song where Jimi Hendrix sets his guitar on fire. I'm starting to think that is my ALL TIME, ultimate best Frank song.
But really that post was just to increase my post count.

Yeah, alright, that could be cool. I've definitely been known for taking frustration out on my piano. Usually the frustration is a result of my inability to play the said instrument, but that's a technicality.

I don't know about a fantasy band, but if RL Burnside would take command of the Blues Explosion and keep the freaking microphones away from Spencer, they'd be up there.

frank black + beck + tom waits, 2 weeks of booked studio time...tear the clocks off the wall and give them some of those funky cigarettes...better throw in a producer that will make sure they actually remember to record something...rick ruben is the right hippie for the job. |

Not sure about Bass, but Hendrix on lead guitar, Dave Grohl on drums, and Frank on vocals could create some amazing shit. And how about throwing Doug Martsch in the mix to do some co-writing/vocals/guitars. They could make the greatest blues CD of all time. Put Frank's voice and song-writing talent over that lead guitar and maniacal drumming and oh oh uh mmmmmm... sorry I just creamed my pants. |

Mitch Mitchell - Drums Tony Levin - Bass EDF - Keyboards Nik Turner - Sax Tom Verlaine - Gtr. Me - Gtr. Mike Patton - Vocals
Maybe we could get on the Pixies tour....
